Episode 89 - The Final Teachings, part 1

Episode 89 - For some reason, the first three full-fledged stories from the Anusasana Parva all center around a Banian tree.  They also share the theme of low-caste hunters and their cruelty.   Remarkably, in the 2nd story the three characters are all saved, but all three die violently.  In the 3rd story, the Brahmin Gautama is an unreformed scoundrel, but he is brought back to life!

  1. Hey Lawrence, I think there is some glitch in the podcast. The podcast gets stuck at around 6:15 on the timeline and ends the podcast. I tried deleting and downloading afresh, it wasn't useful. Also tried restarting my device only to vain. It could be my iPhone device that might be causing the trouble, not sure though. Please check, and request u to fix it if its a problem at your end. Sorry for bothering you with extra work. Thanks.

  2. I think you need to reupload this one. It shows that it's twenty minutes long but stops about a quarter of the way through, both downloaded from iTunes and streaming from your site. Keep up the great work!

    1. The problem was that my ISP has a strange way of limiting file space. The 89th episode blew out the 100meg capacity, but I was allowed to upload it anyway-- it just would not download more than the 100th megabyte! Fortunately, I have other resources, so I'm posting new episodes at another address.

If you are still having a problem, please try reloading the episode. If you get it via a browser you may need to somehow clear out the old file from the "cache". If you are using iTunes, delete the episode, then select "Show all available episodes", and then get the new version of the file.

I've heard from a couple of people already that they were able to reload, but if there is trouble out there, I'll send out a new post with a link to the new file. Just let me know!
